Barcelona Captain, Lionel Messi, Will Not Be Helping Former Teammate, Ronaldinho, To Leave Jail, Denies The Rumour

Barcelona Captain, Lionel Messi, has reportedly denied claims that he will help former teammate, Ronaldinho, financially, to get out of prison, in Paraguay.

Ronaldinho has now spent a week inside a jail, in Paraguay, after being arrested for entering the country with a fake international passport.

There were reports that Lionel Messi who enjoyed playing together with Ronaldinho, was planning to roll out the sum of £3.25 million, so as to help his friend get out of prison.

According to the reports, Lionel Messi’s Advisers claimed that the Argentine will not be helping the Brazilian, financially.

They also claimed that Lionel Messi only sympathised with Ronaldinho, over the heartbreaking incident, and never planned to help with money.

Ronandinho is not the only one in jail, as his brother was also arrested for the same offence.

According to reports, Ronaldindo could be sentenced to six months in jail, if later found guilty of the offence he has been accused of.

His Lawyers were said to have begged for bail and house arrest, which the Judge handling the case refused to grant.
