The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, has set aside a ruling of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court, that suspended the All Progressives Congress, APC, National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, from performing his duties.
The Panel headed by Justice Idris, which commenced sitting by 4:00pm, on Monday, in a unanimous decision, agreed with the Appellant that the suspension was unlawful.
“Consequent upon this ruling vacating the FCT High Court order, Oshiomhole remains the authentic, legal, and solid National Chairman of the APC, and any purported National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting planned to be held tomorrow, by some suspected anti-party members, is automatically unknown to law and contemptuous, if they insist otherwise, due to their professional career in ignorance.”
