Premier League Club Chiefs, have come up with a radical plan to save the season, amid the global pandemic.

They are ready to play all of the remaining 92 games behind closed-doors, with every game shown live on TV.

The matches would also be played at two or three neutral venues, most likely in the Midlands, at different times, according to reports.

Euro 2020 was postponed for 12 months, on Tuesday, due to the coronavirus pandemic, in a bid to allow nations complete their domestic Leagues.

Premier League Clubs fear that they could be the only domestic competition unable to fulfil their fixtures before the end of June, hence the new plan.

Officials are reported to have spoken to UEFA Chief, Aleksander Ceferin, as they have more matches left to play, than countries like Italy and Spain.

Clubs will offer up their revolutionary proposal at a crunch Premier League meeting, on Thursday.

Grounds could even stage more than one game a day, with teams playing every three days, in a race to pack in the fixtures.

By using only a limited number of Stadiums, that would help keep the numbers of Medical and Police needed, down to a minimum.
