President Buhari Is Well And Fully In Charge Of The Country – FG Declares, Searches For 4,370 Suspected Persons With Covid-19

Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, has said that the Federal Government is making serious efforts to trace at least 4,370 persons of interest, in relation to the coronavirus outbreak in Nigeria.

Lai Mohammed called on Nigerians, who have had contact with persons suspected to be have been infected with the virus, to report themselves to the appropriate Agencies.

The Minister also denied the report that President Muhammadu Buhari is sick, even after testing negative for the coronavirus.

Referring to this claim as “fake news”, he said: “Mr. President is well and fully in charge of the country. Some have alleged that the President is coughing…”

Earlier, the Presidency had confirmed that the President tested negative for the novel coronavirus infection.

Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, made the confirmation in a statement on Wednesday, March 25. The Presidential Spokesperson said that the result was a thing of joy.

Similarly, amidst the coronavirus scare in the Aso Rock Villa, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, had tested negative for the global disease also known as Covid-19.

This was made public by Femi Ojudu, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Affairs, on Wednesday, March 25.
