BREAKING: Covid-19 Update: Nigeria’s Coronavirus Cases Hit 232, As 8 New Cases, Emerge In Lagos, FCT, Kaduna, On Sunday

Nigeria has recorded 8 new cases of the coronavirus, in Lagos State, the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and Kaduna State, on Sunday.

The 8 new cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 232.

While 5 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, the FCT had 2, and Kaduna, 1.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, made this known via its Twitter handle, at 09:32pm, on Sunday.

It tweeted: “8 new cases of #Covid19 have been reported in Nigeria: 5 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT, and 1 in Kaduna State

“As of 09:30pm, on 5th of April, there are 232 confirmed cases of #Covid-19 reported in Nigeria. 33 have been discharged, with 5 deaths.”
