Covid-19: Lagos State Government Discharges Many More Coronavirus Patients, Including A 10-Year-Old Infected Girl

The Lagos State Government, has on Sunday, announced the discharge of 5 more coronavirus patients receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, bringing the total number of discharged patients in the State, to 29.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, disclosed this on his Twitter handle, @Jidesanwoolu.

He tweeted: “Dear Lagosians, yesterday (Saturday) I announced the discharge of 1 more patient from our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba.

“Today, I am happy to inform you that 5 more patients, comprising 2 males and 3 females, including a 10-year-old girl, have tested negative twice to #Covid-19.

“These 5 patients have been discharged, to reunite with their families. This brings to a total of 29, the number of patients who have fully recovered and have been discharged from our facility at Yaba.

“Although, there is a strong indication that the State is winning the battle against #Covid-19, it is imperative that we remain steadfast to curtail the spread. I strongly advise that we continue to observe social distancing.”
