Covid-19: Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Has Announced The Discharge Of 6 More Coronavirus Patients, On Monday

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has on Monday, through his official Twitter handle, announced the discharge of 6 more coronavirus patients in the State, who have fully recovered from the disease and tested negative twice.

According to him, the persons, 1 female and 5 males, were discharged from the Infectious Disease Centre, in Yaba, earlier, before his tweet.

“This good news brings the number of patients who have been managed and discharged from our facilities to 61”, he tweeted.

He described the recent success as an indication of the State Government’s resolve to win in the war against the coronavirus.

He, however, said that they would not be deterred, until they achieve the goal, and thanked the residents for their perseverance at this critical time.

Governor Sanwo-Olu urged residents to continue to observe the measures to curb the spread of the disease, stressing that, their sacrifices would not be in vain.
