BREAKING: President Buhari Appoints An Old Northerner And Former Lagos State Military Administrator As Director-General Of The NDLEA

President Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the appointment of a former Military Administrator of Lagos State, Brigadier-General Mohammed Buba Marwa, as the new Director-General, DG, of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Page 36 learnt on Saturday.

Marwa was until his recent appointment, the Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Drug Abuse.

Stakeholders had hailed the work and comprehensive report of the Committee under Marwa’s watch.

While supporters of President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, have been congratulating the Adamawa State-born Retired Military General on his appointment via Twitter, others have stated that the appointment was borne out of nepotism, an allegation that has refused to go away concerning the President Buhari administration.
