Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani-Bello, Confirms That Over 3,000 Residents Have Been Displaced, Following An Attack On Kauri Community

The government of Niger State, has on Monday, confirmed that over 3,000 residents have been displaced, following an attack on Kauri community, in Shiroro Local Government Area of the State, Page 36 learnt.

The Governor of the State, Abubakar Sani-Bello, confirmed the presence of the insurgents in the community today.

According to him, the terrorists and bandits displaced the residents at IBB Central Primary School, in Minna, the State capital.

Governor Sani-Bello was in the company of his Deputy, Ahmed Kesto, and the Emir of Minna, Dr. Umar Faruq.

He described the situation as critical and terrible, noting that, it is high time for well-coordinated actions to be taken to address the problem.
