APC House Of Representatives Member Reveals That One Of The Reasons President Muhammadu Buhari Banned Twitter In Nigeria, Is Because It Allowed Boko Haram Terrorists To Have Accounts On The Platform And Tweet

An All Progressives Congress, APC, Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yunusa Ahmad Abubakar, has stated that one of the reasons Twitter’s operation was suspended in Nigeria by the President Muhammadu Buhari Federal Government, was because of boko haram terrorists, Page 36 learnt.

On Wednesday, during an interview on Channels Television, Hon. Abubakar, who is also a Member of the House Committee on Loans, Aids and Debts Management, said that Twitter was suspended, because boko haram members were allowed to tweet.

Hon. Yunusa, who hails from Gombe State, claimed that Twitter was escalating the boko haram insurgency in the country.

When the Interviewer asked why he said so, the Honourable House Member replied: “They have been allowed to be tweeting…the insurgents…They have been allowed to be tweeting.”
