BREAKING: Yoruba Nation Agitators Warn President Muhammadu Buhari’s Federal Government Not To Kill Their Leader, Sunday Igboho, The Way Chief M. K. O. Abiola Was Killed In Cold Blood

Emerging report indicates that armed men of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, have on Wednesday, dispersed the Yoruba Nation Agitators demonstrating peacefully in Ibadan, Oyo State, for the release of their Leader, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, who was arrested in Cotonou, on Monday night, as is still in detention in Benin Republic.

The protesters were said to have marched to Soka Bus Stop, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, where they sang some songs, and demanded for the release of Igboho.

Residents in the area said that the protesters, who were armed with placards bearing various inscriptions, included males and females, and were said to have called on Yoruba Leaders and the International Community, to fight for the release of their Leader.

One of the street hawkers at Soka Bus Stop, stated that Igboho’s supporters sang repeatedly, warning the President Muhammadu Buhari Federal Government not to kill Igboho the way Chief MKO Abiola was allegedly killed.

The street hawker said that the protest grounded traffic in the area, and some motorists who were conversant with the situation had to take alternative routes to avoid the area.

Another resident of the area who identified himself as Musbau Ogunbiyi, said:

“The Policemen came in about four patrol vans and a car. They shot in the air and chased away the protesters.”
