BREAKING: Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, In ‘Tears’ Yet Again, As Suspected Armed Fulani Bandits Attack And Kill 12 Residents, Injure 2 Others

Emerging report indicates that suspected armed Fulani bandits have attacked and killed 12 residents, and injured 2 others, in Peigyim village, near Kibori, Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, Kaduna State.

Confirming the incident on Monday, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said that Security Agencies have reported to the Kaduna State Government that 12 persons were killed in an attack by unidentified assailants in Peigyim village, near Kibori, Atyap Chiefdom.

According to the statement, the bandits stormed the village late on Sunday evening, and killed the 12 residents.

Aruwan identified the deceased as follows: Philbia Ysuaf, Suzanna Ezekiel, Rahib Alex, Ishaku Bamaiyi, Deborah Ishaku, Tinat Bamaiyi, Zichat Kefas, Sunday Daniel, Hauwa Gabriel, Fedelia Famson, Sadia Donald, and Goodness Kefas

He said that two other residents were injured, and are currently receiving treatment.

Receiving the report, Governor Nasir El-Rufai expressed profound grief at the report of yet another deadly incident in the area.

He sent his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, and prayed for the repose of their souls, wishing the injured residents quick recovery.
