ISWAP Terrorists Set Successful Trap For Nigerian Army In Borno State, Fire Gunshots Indiscriminately At Military Convoy, Kill 12 Soldiers, Allegedly

Emerging report indicates that the Islamic State of West Africa Province, ISWAP, terrorists have killed at least 12 Soldiers of the Nigerian Army and Local Vigilantes, in Borno State.

The terrorists reportedly buried Improvised Explosive Devices, IED, on the road a Military convoy travelling to Maiduguri, the State capital, would pass from Marte.

The motorcade was escorting the Soldiers that were granted leave to pass from the Marte Unit.

The troops were ambushed around Ala village, situated between Marte-Dikwa town.

As one of their vehicles came in contact with the IED, the terrorists hiding around opened fire.
