BREAKING: Top Senator Claims That They Have So Far Compiled 73 Signatures To Veto President Buhari On The Rejected Electoral Amendment Bill

Senator George Sekibo, has on Tuesday, told Channels Television, that some Senators in the 9th National Assembly are planning to veto President Muhammadu Buhari on the rejected Electoral Act Amendment Bill, Page 36 learnt.

He claimed that they have so far compiled 73 signatures to veto the President.

Recall, that the 109-member Senate will require a two-thirds majority to veto the Bill into Law.

Recall also, that President Buhari had written to the National Assembly today, to inform it of his decision to withhold his assent on the Bill.

The Senate adjourned its session till tomorrow, Wednesday.
