Emerging report indicates that the residence of Nathaniel Agunbiade, the Osun State Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, was badly attacked in the early hours of Monday.
It was gathered that thugs launched the attack on Erinmo Ijesa town, and vandalised the Commissioner’s properties, including his cars.
It was also gathered that several Aides of the Commissioner were injured while attempting to resist the attackers.
Reacting, a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who preferred anonymity, revealed that the attack on the Commissioner may not be unconnected with the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Saturday’s Governorship election in the State, that saw the incumbent Governor and Candidate of the APC, Gboyega Oyetola, lose.
He also stated the hoodlums who were hitherto operating underground, suddenly surfaced and took to major towns in the State, to destroy properties and attack members of the APC.
