Labour Party’s Peter Obi Vows To Unite Nigerians By Strictly Obeying The 1999 Constitution On Equitable Representation In All Federal Establishments With Citizens From Every Region, Women, Youths And People With Disability, Unlike President Muhammadu Buhari

The Labour Party, LP, 2023 Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, has stated exactly how he intends to ensure that unity returns back to Nigeria among Nigerians, should he emerge as the next President of the country, come 2023 Presidential election, Page 36 learnt

Speaking during a Town Hall meeting, in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America, USA, on Wednesday, Obi said exactly: “We will seek to reunite Nigeria through strict adherence to Constitutional provisions on equitable representation in Federal establishments, and regenerate a sense of belonging to all citizens through inclusivity and adequate representation of women, youths and people with disability in government.”

He added that the constitutional review would entail Legislative, Executive and Judicial actions, adding that, “ultimately the Nigerian people will decide”.

Obi also noted that his government would proactively reassert Nigeria’s Leadership role in Africa’s affairs through constructive engagement, using existing sub-regional and regional forums and bilateral platforms for dialogue on current and emerging challenges.
