BREAKING: Minister Of Foreign Affairs Warns All Nigerians Applying For The Only Approved UAE Visa (Family Visa) For Citizens Under 40 Years Old, To Make Sure They Travel To Dubai With Their Families, Or Be Prepared To Face The Dire Consequences For Breaking The International Law

The President Muhammadu Buhari Federal Government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has warned all Nigerians under 40 years old applying for the United Arab Emirates, UAE, family visa, to ensure they travel with their family members when going to Dubai, to avoid any form of embarrassment and the risk of being sent back to Nigeria, Page 36 learnt.

The Federal Government gave the warning while confirming that the UAE has suspended tourist visa for Nigerians under 40 years old, amid the viral video showing stranded Nigerians at an Airport, in Dubai.

A Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Francisca Omayuli, noted that those affected failed to abide by the visa condition.

A statement by the Official informed the public that the UAE now considers persons “applying for family visa”, only.

It said that the Nigerians in the footage were issued family visa, only to arrive in Dubai, without any family members.

The statement reads in part: “They were denied entry and advised to return to their country and apply for the appropriate visa.

“Persons allowed entry have their family members in the UAE, while those who claimed their family members were on another flight, were told to wait at the Airport.”

The government stated further that with the new UAE visa regime, Applicants should indicate their visa preferences without ambiguity, and obey the Immigration Laws of other countries.
