BREAKING: President Muhammadu Buhari’s Federal Government Defeats ASUU In Court, As National Industrial Court Orders ASUU To Call Off Its Ongoing Indefinite Strike, With Immediate Effect, Damns All Its Demands

The National Industrial Court of Nigeria, has on Wednesday, ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to call off its nationwide strike, with immediate effect, Page 36 learnt.

Recall, that the President Muhammadu Buhari Federal Government had approached to court to forcefully end the ongoing now indefinite ASUU strike.

The government through its Counsel, James Igwe, prayed the court for an interlocutory injunction restraining ASUU from taking further steps as regards the strike, pending the determination of the substantive suit, which was granted by the Judge.
